23 CX-30 Turbo has odd exhaust note

Got a 2023 CX-30 Turbo Premium last week and noticed the engine sounds a bit like a 3-cylinder or even a Subaru boxer when accelerating from inside the cabin. My buddy's got a CX-5 with the non-turbo version and it doesn't sound the same. Is this just the turbo setup changing the tone or should I have it checked?

Totally normal, the turbo engines can have a deeper, slightly offbeat tone compared to the non‑turbo ones.. My CX‑30 Turbo does the same, and its just how the setup sounds under load.
