Windshield wiper issues

I upgraded my front wipers to K&N blades and ran into some issues... the driver's side isnt wiping properly and leaves smears across most of the windshield and being slightly longer, it even touches the molding when parked. The fluid nozzle also gets blocked by the larger wind deflector. I considered swapping in the smaller OEM inserts, but unfortunately, they dont fit the new blades. Any advice?

I had almost the same issue after switching to aftermarket blades, longer ones rubbed the trim and didn't sit right. I ended up going back to OEM size, which fixed streaking. Have you tried downsizing or adjusting arm tension?

yeah, i ran into similar issues with aftermarket blades before, sometimes the only fix is either trimming a tiny bit off the blade or going back to slightly shorter OEM-style inserts
